This blog began in 2021 after the loss of both of my parents.

After my dad passed away in December 2020, I found myself navigating Chinese funeral customs and traditions that I knew very little about. Less than a year later, I lost my mum too.

Through grief, I became more connected to my family’s history, our culture, and the traditions that shape us.
